Welcome to Challenger Views on Ridgecrest! Enjoy vintage modern luxury, expansive views, a great open kitchen and a cozy queen bed during your Crestone stay. This beautiful space is located on the far edge of the Baca Grande Subdivision less than a mile from the North Sand Dunes Park entrance. It’s a great place to stay and explore Crestone and the San Luis Valley or enjoy a resting getaway. This ground floor suite features a large spacious living area with comfortable couch, which also pulls out to a bed for additional guests. Adjoining is a queen-sized master bedroom with full bathroom stocked with comfy towels and eco amenities for your stay. The suite is a great space for quiet retreats featuring a large spacious kitchen stocked with dishware and bakeware for your extended stay. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher, oven and range with large fridge and freezer. The dining area is elegant and has adequate seating if you have a larger group and rent the second upstairs unit that adjoins the suite through a locking door and stairway. The outdoor areas are relaxing and peaceful for your mountain getaway. The backyard shared area has a table with umbrella and BBQ grill for evening enjoyment. The private entrance has a small bistro seating area for guests to enjoy as well. The house is equipped with a washer and dryer unit that is shared for both suites to use during their stay. This space is well suited for individuals or couples as a private suite. The upstairs suite can also be rented out and joined as one house for groups or families. Creekside nature trails, starry nights at Sand Dunes National Park, and nature photography out the back door makes this an excellent place to expand our connect to nature and explore spirituality.Enjoy great tasting mountain water and explore the beautiful San Luis Valley expansive mountain views, Sand Dunes National Park, elegant Sand Hill Cranes, dark night skies for star gazing and be on the look for UFOS, many stories of sightings have been heard around Crestone! There are many local hiking trails nearby the house, some folks suggest the North Crestone Trailhead, Willow lake is a great day hike, and the Creekside trails along the greenbelts in the Baca Grande Subdivision are spectacular and lush. The Challenger Views on Ridgecrest is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and folks looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.Crestone Colorado is in the middle of the San Luis Valley. There is very limited public transportation in the area.
