This is a family friendly home steps away from the private beach walkover. The home has 2 large private balconies with outstanding views of the Gulf of Mexico and community lagoons.The home has 3 king sized beds and another bedroom with two bunk beds. Linens are included with the rental.The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. In addition to all of the basics, the kitchen has many extras (e.g., large serving platters, large griddle, crock pot, Keurig Coffee maker, regular coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, wine bottle opener, toaster and waffle iron).There are 5 televisions, 2 DVD players and cable. The home also has a washer/dryer and has high speed internet access. Below the house are charcoal BBQ grills and a cabana shower to rinse off after a great day at the beach. There are also two picnic tables below the home. It’s a great place to unwind and after a day at the beach or beach club. Also a nice location for cocktail hour.Both balconies have fantastic views of the beach, lagoons, large palm trees and the beautiful Pointe West community. The lower balcony has plenty of brand new adirondack furniture (captain’s chairs and table), the perfect place to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner and soak in the views. The upper balcony of off of the master bedroom is equipped with brand new adirondack lounge chairs and a bistro table and chairs, a great spot for your morning sunrise cup of coffee.Guests are as close as you can get to the community private beach crossover which leads to beautifully groomed and wide beaches, the best on the island. Guests may also enjoy the many amenities that the Pointe West resort has to offer. Wristbands for the amenities are $25 per person, children age 3 and under are free, and are good for the duration of your stay. Amenities include, infinity edge pool overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, hot tub, lazy river pool, children’s pools, game room, fitness facility, poolside bar, restaurant and resort activities.There are many options for fishing at Pointe West. Guests can surf fish, right at the beach. San Luis Pass also offers world-class surf fishing and Galveston Bay offers many wade fishing options right off of the Pointe West property. The community also has a fishing pier on the bay side of the resort.If you like shelling, some of the best on the island is available at Pointe West. Conch shells, Scallop shells, oysters, sand dollars, etc. are not uncommon.The ultimate in rest and relaxation is available right here.
