The pebbly beach below is ideal for sunning, swimming, exploring tide pools and canoeing/kayaking.Inside the cottage, you’ll find a galley kitchen with all you need to cook a delicious Maine meal, a dining room table for 6, and a living room with cable TV that opens to the multi-level decks. Upstairs you’ll find a full bathroom with shower/tub combo and a single sink, a bedroom with a queen, a bedroom with a queen and twin bunkbed, and a master bedroom with a king and ocean views. The washer and dryer are located in the basement area.Use this lovely, comfortable cottage as your home base while you discover the peace and quiet of Casco Bay’s rocky shoreline, picturesque coves and nature at its most glorious. Then come back to spend relaxing evenings, starting with spectacular sunsets from your own little slice of Maine’s coastal heaven!Sorry, pets are not allowed at Coveside.****The neighbor’s plans to renovate their cottage have been scrapped, so major construction at the home next door is no longer an issue for the 2024 season. The neighbors are hoping to re-build their deck in the Fall of 2024, but that project has not been confirmed. As the owner realizes the deck construction would affect the enjoyment of our guests, he has offered a 15% discount on the base rental rate for guests who are impacted by the possible deck construction in the Fall of 2024. This discount will only be given should the construction commence during a guest’s stay.
