This charming villa has been updated recently: new paint, furniture, master bathroom with large walk-in travertine shower, and a 55″ Smart 4K UHD TV with Netflix subscription and still a 2 minute walk to the beach!See complete list of updates below.When you arrive at the villa you immediately feel like you are in a charming beach cottage with the new beadboard ceilings, crown molding and shaker style kitchen. This very bright villa is located in the popular complex within Palmetto Dunes called The Moorings. You can’t get closer to the best beach in Hilton Head without paying ocean front prices. Within The Moorings Unit #31/32 you will be located in a quiet section on the end with a nice view of the landscape, directly adjacent to the amenities you will find at The Marriott. It is a simple walk to the beach and you will not need to cross or walk down any busy streets. A few steps through the oceanfront Beach Villa complex and your feet are in the sand! This comes in handy when you want to come back home during the day for a snack or break from the sun.The layout of the villa offers a lot of privacy having the guest bedroom located off the entry way and the 2nd bedroom adjacent to the living room. Each bedroom has it own en suite bathroom. There is a bonus 3rd full bath located in the foyer which also contains the washer and dryer. This is convenient for guests who use the pullout sofa because they can have their own full bathroom as well.The living room and bedrooms all have HDTV flat screen TVs and there is a DVR in the living room with access to Netflix. You can record your favorite shows to watch while relaxing after a fun day in the sun!There are 2 decks located off the living room which can be accessed from each bedroom as well. One of the decks offers a view of the pool so you can check up on your kids swimming while you make dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. The other deck is very private, if you prefer to just relax with a good book and a glass of wine. Because this is a second floor unit the decks are not covered, which bring a lot of natural light into the unit. New patio furniture has been purchased with a table and chairs with cushions and an umbrella. The perfect place for a nice breakfast or dinner al fresco!The villa is located within the gated community of Palmetto Dunes which is home to 3 world-class golf courses (Robert Trent Jones, Arthur Hills and George Fazio) and the award-winning Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center. You can walk over to the Outfitters to rent your bikes, kayaks, fishing gear or canoes to use through the 11 mile lagoon.Biking is very popular in Hilton Head because of the numerous miles of biking paths and wide beaches with packed sand. You can also walk to the General Store to get your daily newspaper and a delicious breakfast sandwich. They offer some grocery selections and convenience foods as well as beer, wine, spirits, etc. Shelter Cove Marina is only a mile away and an easy bike ride. Fireworks are shown every Tuesday night during the summer months where you will also find live entertainment. The Dunes Buggy free shuttle is also available to take you to the shopping or entertainment in Shelter Cove during the busier season.With this villa being centrally located on the island you can quickly access all of the local attractions. Stopping by the Dunes House restaurant on your way home from the beach for a cold beer, burger or fish tacos will be the perfect end to your day.
