Driftwood is located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, surrounded by bike & walking paths and less than a mile from the beaches. Our home is a beautifully constructed 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage nearby the popular Nags Head Woods Nature Preserve and just blocks from the beach. Included with your rental are 2 adult and 1 youth beach cruisers to explore the surrounding neighborhoods. There is a convenient crosswalk at the intersection on the bypass for safe crossings to nearby beaches and restaurants. We also offer a gas grill and chiminea on the back deck. Driftwood is an excellent choice to vacation with its proximity to shopping, restaurants, arts, sightseeing, laser tag, boating, fishing, bird watching, jet skiing, surfing, kite boarding & eco tours. We have lived here since 2007 and are very familiar with the area and all it has to offer. They do a fantastic job of making sure everything is done during a very short window. Check-out time is 10 am and departure instructions are included in your welcome letter and are also in the guestbook binder located in our home. Check-in time is set for 4 pm to allow them the time they need to prepare the home for your arrival.We understand that there are times when you may need an early check-in time. We are happy to offer guaranteed early check-in if you have confirmed & paid for this additional service 2 weeks prior to arrival. This payment allows us to compensate our house staff for prioritizing our home for your early arrival at 1 pm. As a courtesy to our service vendors, we ask that you please do not park at the home, drop off personal items, or ask our vendors if the home is ready yet if you do not choose to coordinate a guaranteed early check-in.
