Summer excursions out on the water, incredible fall foliage, winters spent skiing the nearby slopes – this is the perfect place to do it all.This home sits a few blocks inland of Maine Route 1, in a tranquil, family-friendly neighborhood that’s wonderful for walking, running, and riding bikes. You’ll be a few minutes’ drive from the picturesque harbors of Rockport (two miles) and Camden (three miles), both of which are home to some of the best restaurants in Maine. Spend winter days skiing and summer days mountain biking at Camden Snow Bowl (three miles), board windjammer cruises from one of the harbors, and go hiking in Camden Hills State Park (five miles) for a panoramic view of the coast.You’ll delight in the setting of this house, from the lush trees that provide shade and privacy to the lovely backyard with ample space for games. Tend to the flower garden if the mood strikes you, sear fresh local seafood on the gas grill out back, and gather each evening for s’mores around the firepit.Inside, the house is calm and uncluttered. The open living space brings together a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a sitting room with a comfortable sofa. In the evenings, play Ping-Pong with your loved ones, set up board games at the dining room table, or stream your favorite movies on TV. A desk workspace, high-speed WiFi, and a private washer/dryer are provided as well.THINGS TO KNOWThe woodstove is not for guest use.If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.)
