The cottage has two bedrooms (master overlooks lake), a large comfortable living room with fieldstone fireplace and cathedral ceilings, a separate dining room, an enclosed porch overlooking the lake, and one bathroom with shower. There is also a daybed on the porch, which allows for a total of 5 occupants. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave.There is now a gorgeous bunkhouse, completed in 2021. Twin beds in a sleeping loft have a view of the lake, and there is a queen sleeper sofa in the cathedral height living area plus a full bath with shower. The bunkhouse can be added to any rental for an additional fee.Ten minute drive to downtown Camden, walking distance to Mt. Battie hiking trails.To maintain the traditional, get-away-from-it-all nature of the cottage, we have chosen not to add WiFi service. Cell phone service for major carriers is good; if you need more than the occasional hot-spot from your phone, we recommend a stand-alone WiFi hot-spot device.
