Our just-renovated modern farmhouse sits on two acres just outside Woodstock, Va., only 90 minutes from D.C.This home is the perfect outpost for a mountain respite, centrally located for hiking, kayaking, wineries, breweries, antiques, and much more.Or why not telecommute with a scenic view? We have two dedicated workspaces with reliable high speed internet (150 mbps) for those who need a change of pace.Our home was built in 1900 and tastefully renovated in 2021, retaining its original charm with all new appliances and amenities. While the beds and sofas are new, the antique hardwood furniture is locally sourced to retain an authentic decor. There can be ambient highway noise audible from our property, depending on traffic and the weather, so we have a white noise machine for guests sensitive to noise.- From approximately April through November, we have a mowing service mow our lawn. They typically mow on Tuesdays in the late morning/early afternoon (weather permitting) and usually complete the mowing in 30 minutes.See more
