Located on the North Shore of Walloon, this delightful cottage is within walking distance of the Foot. It is perched high atop a hillside with sweeping views of the southern most part of the lake.Built in the early 1900s, the house has been in our family since the late 1920s and has been lovingly and substantially updated.Ernest Hemingway spent boyhood summers on the lake with his family and used Walloon as the setting for his famed Nick Adams stories. The lovely towns of Harbor Springs and Petoskey are close by. A trip to Mackinac Island is a must and about an hours drive away.
