Greeting you is a full length enclosed front porch where you can sit back, relax, and watch the cars and motorcycles drive by while enjoying the sights of Chimney Rock Village. Once inside the main living area you’re surrounded by the warmth of solid pine tongue and groove walls and original double rock fireplace with new gas logs on one side and a wood stove on the other. Surrounding the main living room and additional den area are 4 bedrooms with one (1) King bed and (3) Queen beds. Three of the bedrooms have their own TV’s. The home also has two (2) full bathrooms each with shower and tub.The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal for the entire family including crockpot and plenty of cookware. Gather by the stove in the kitchen or use the gas grill outside. The dining room has ample seating for 6 to 8 people. Wait there’s more! There’s a sunroom overlooking the river with a large flat screen TV, perfect for watching the game, just reading a book, or taking a nap. Listening to the river is like having your own relaxing sound machineOutdoor seating abounds across the full-length deck area. Did we mention it also has a 6-person HOT TUB overlooking the river! What better place to relax after a long day of hiking, sightseeing, or shopping? Ideally, you’ll do absolutely nothing but sit back and relax with your favorite beverage watching the river roll by as the sun sets. The best part … wake up to the sounds of the water and do it all over again tomorrowJust a steps away is downtown Chimney Rock Village; Hickory Nut Gorge Brewery, Burntshirt Winery and Bistro, Broad River Coffee Shop, Mini Golf, Old Time Photos, and… it’s just a 2-minute drive to downtown Lake Lure, The Beach & Water Park, Lake Lure Tours & Marina, Canoe & Kayak rentals, and more!PETS: This is a Dog friendly home there will be additional non-refundable pet fee listed. CATS ARE NOT ALLOWED2 Adult Dogs are allowed with additional pet deposit of $60-$120. Dogs must not be left unattended or must be crated if left at home. Dogs are NOT allowed on the furniture; we ask that you please always pick up after you dogs and be mindful of the neighbors and keep your dogs on a leash.MINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to reserve a rental property and sign this lease and must also be a guest at the property during the entire term of the stay. You must present a valid government ID at time of check in. If you are not 25, you will NOT be allowed to check in and no refund will be provided*** Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, through the first quarter (March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season.
