When Jim & Lisa decided to renovate their beach cottage, the only thing they knew they wanted was comfort. “We wanted the house to be comfortable, but also fun and exciting. The idea was to get that ‘coming into a beach house feeling’ where you know you’re going to have a good time.The cottage was originally a ‘guest house’ for a larger property on the cul-de-sac, and it now reflects North Carolina’s beach-loving lifestyle. Newly renovated and nicely furnished, this 2.5Bedroom, 1.5 Bathroom property is updated to exceed your standards with all the necessities of home. Located in Nags Head at milepost 11, a great central location to many fabulous restaurants, beach activities, and national landmarks. Take a stroll to the Nags Head Pier, Tortugas’ Lie, and Lucky 12 Tavern or a bike ride to multiple art galleries, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and even Jockey’s Ridge State Park (the largest dunes on the east coast which promise incredible sunsets). Kids and adults will enjoy a game of Putt Putt at Galaxy golf (17 min walk ) Pet friendly(pet fee 35.00 per night /1 pet or 40.00 per night 2pet max) with a fenced in back yard, two decks, one off the house( w /2 captain deck chairs )and the other with seating area for 4 , umbrella, and gas grill. A newly added Park 2016/17 called Dowdy Park is open for kids and adults to enjoy & its only a 10 minute walk . Renovated kitchen with all new appliances (refrigerator/freezer, stove, dishwasher, microwave). New flooring throughout the house! Updated bathrooms, and new media which includes three streaming flat screen TVs (65″living room & 50″ in master bedroom ) and (1) 32” flat TV with DVD & firestick remote only in the3rd bedroom ( with a daybed/ twin bedroom/ media room . The living room has 5 Bose Speakers ( surround sound ) stereo amp & iPod ready. Nestled on a large corner lot, an easy walk to beach (less than a 5 minute walk to Bladen Street Beach front access which has NO steps onto beach . The cottage sits on 2 lots & is located in a neighborhood with no thruway-traffic making the location safe and quiet. You will not be disappointed…I am happy to guide you to all the cool local spots.
