Spacious, charming 1896 cottage at the top of quiet, magical footpath. Has a secluded, peaceful feel but is only a 2-3 min. walk to island grocery store, restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream, ferry and 8 min. walk to Sandy Beach. Also convenient for weddings at the Inn. Relax on the sun or open-air porches, read a book by the gas fireplace at night, grill your dinner on the back deck or pop in to Portland for a day trip on the ferry. The cottage retains a rustic feel, but various updates (e.g., comfortable beds) make this a delightful home-away-from-home for your relaxed island holiday. (Please note that guests bring their own sheets, but we provide blankets, pillows. duvets and bath towels) Welcome to the Coast of Maine!
