This separate building, located just steps from the main cottage, offers breathtaking views of the water. Inside, you’ll find a cozy bunk bed that sleeps three (3) and a comfortable queen sleeper sofa for two. The bunk room is equipped with an internet connected TV and a refrigerator/freezer. The bunkhouse has its own heating and air conditioning system, guaranteeing a comfortable stay no matter the weather. However, please note that the bunkhouse does not have its own bathroom.Bathroom:Rocky Shores has a single but well-appointed bathroom with convenient soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers, a heater just outside the shower, and plenty of space for families to get ready in the morning before heading out to enjoy Door County.Outdoor Deck, Waterfront, Patio, and Fire Pit Areas:Perhaps the best part of Rocky Shores Retreat is the outdoors! With a large backyard and 180′ shoreline, you’ll have ample outdoor space for relaxing in the hammock or playing yard games like bag toss. The most prominent feature is the large deck, which is partially shaded by cedar trees and overlooks the water – it’s a great spot for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Enjoy the outdoor spaces well into the evening with the outdoor lighting over the deck and ample seating for family and friends. The fire pit area is surrounded by Adirondack chairs and makes a great spot for marshmallow roasting or fireside family fun. . It’s the perfect spot to enjoy Door County’s beautiful waterfront.Whenever the weather is nice, we love to head outdoors for some fun in the sun. And, thanks to the well-equipped outdoor space, you’ll never be short on things to do. We’ve got four kayaks for exploring Little Sturgeon Bay, a stand-up paddleboard for soaking up some rays, and a bag toss game for when we’re feeling competitive. Plus, we’ve got all the classic yard games like frisbee and horseshoes. And when we’re ready to relax, we can always lounge in the hammock with a good book. No matter what we’re in the mood for, our outdoor space has you covered. (Kayaks, paddleboards, and yard games are available from May/June to September)The brick patio on the south side of the cottage is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The patio is a great place to relax when the wind is coming off the water. The Weber grill is perfect for cooking up a delicious meal and is just steps away from the kitchen. You’ll also find comfortable and inviting seating, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee.
