Description

Charming summer cottage with everything you need for a large group of family or friends. The Munson Cottage is a unique 150+ year old summer home that has been in our family for three generations. Nestled in the woods, yet only a 5-minute walk to the Colony Beach and breakwater. Dock Square in downtown Kennebunkport is just 1 mile away.The Munson Cottage has six bedrooms and three bathrooms to sleep fifteen comfortably. Linens and towels (including beach towels) are provided. There is a working fireplace in the living room, a large screened in porch, a dining room, and a full kitchen with a glass top electric stove and an antique propane cast iron stove for heat. The large Dining Room has plenty of room for your extended family and friends.We rent by the week in the Summer and by the night with a 3-night minimum in the shoulder season. The Munson Cottage is a summer house with no central heat. There is no central A/C but each room has a fan to use as needed. Pets are welcomed!
