Description
Traditional San Francisco home in a very quiet neighborhood with many original details from 1927. No chores! You will be on the second floor, and have it entirely to yourself with your own private entrance. I live in the garden suite downstairs. Sleeps 4 with 2 bedrooms. 10 minute walk to Balboa Park BART station. 3 minute walk to the J-Church Muni Train, and the 49 and 29 bus lines.South-facing living room gets incredible light, and the many lightwells provide a bright, airy feel all day.The space:A bit of a time capsule for many features. From the original hardwood floors, to the fireplace with 1920’s craftsman-style tile work, and a built in buffet cabinet in the dining room. The “gossip nook” is even still present, even if there is no house phone there any longer. Total space is approximately 1200 square feet.Parking: outdoor parking in the driveway is reserved for your use during your stay. Will fit most vehicles up to a Ford F150 or medium SUV. Driveway is monitored by security cameras at all times.Guest access:You will have access to the entire top floor and driveway.Other things to note:Basketball, tennis supplies, and a boogie board all available. Baby crib and blanket, high seat always in the unit. Vornado space heaters to keep the back rooms at your preferred warmth. There is a queen air mattress with linens always available.Easy access to highways 280 and 101, as well as BART, Muni buses and light rail. Less than 20 minutes to the Ferry Building downtown.Guests often comment about the exceptional cleanliness, attention to guest needs, and the house being larger in person than it appears in photos.License number:2023-003403STR
