The Bird Rock area of La Jolla is just to the north, with more beaches, the Cove, tidepools, shops, restaurants, Torrey Pines, the Birch Aquarium, and UCSD. Express bus to UCSD a few blocks away on Mission Blvd.JUST MINUTES from Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, and Mission Bay. Easy freeway access makes sightseeing beyond the beach a breeze.Hop on one of the beach cruiser bikes (or tricycle for the littlest one) for a ride through the neighborhoods or on the 16-mile boardwalk along the beach.When the sun goes down, enjoy roasting marshmallows in the fire pit or barbecue on the patio.PLEASE NOTE that this is NOT a party house — perfect for families and small groups.
