This home offers the perfect blend of carefree comfort and tranquil simplicity, in a natural, wooded setting of unparalleled beauty.Enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise from the huge comfortably furnished deck, just steps from the shore of the lake. Relax on the sun-dappled deck and listen to the loons after a canoe or a swim in the lake, or a hike in nearby Acadia National Park. If there’s a chill in the air, you can take in the view of your gorgeous natural surroundings all day long through the walls of glass in the living and dining areas, with the gas fireplace to make the space even more cozy.The cabin is ideally situated on the quiet side of Mount Desert Island, a few minutes’ drive from many Acadia National Park trailheads. Canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and bike rental shops are all conveniently near the cabin as well. Like to cook? The kitchen has what you need, including granite countertops, an upscale gas range and oven, and dishwasher. If your idea of a perfect vacation means no cooking, the charming nearby town of Southwest Harbor offers plenty of excellent restaurant options, and the busier town of Bar Harbor, with its restaurants, bars, and stores, is just a 20-minute drive away.The main bedroom has a queen bed, and the “bunkroom” has one queen bed and three extra-long twin beds. There is one full bathroom (shower, no tub) and one half-bathroom. Bedding, towels, and basic supplies provided.There is no television in the cabin, but there is high-speed internet/wifi. So it’s easy to stay connected and use your phone or laptop to enjoy web-based/streaming tv and movies. or even work remotely, if need be.EV Charger availableCleaning fee $200 will be addedMaximum occupancy of 6 people, no exceptions.Weekly: Friday-Friday.
