Description

There are weekend rates ONLY if you stay for 2 nights. If you stay for 3 nights or more, the weekend rate will be waived.Standard check-in time is 4pm, and standard check-out time is 10am.This four bedroom, 1.5 bath house with hardwood floors throughout, is located in the city limits of Walhalla, SC. Aunt Helen’s brothers built the house in 1947 for their mom, who had to move to town after their dad died. The house has been in the family ever since, and Steve and I are the third generation owners. The house has never been occupied by a smoker, and it is very clean. It still has the feel of the 80’s, but the bedspreads and linens have been updated, along with a few of the rooms. It has brand new appliances, and the bathroom has been completely remodeled. The couches have also been replaced in the living room.We have the comforts of the 21st century with satellite tv in one bedroom and in the living room and speedy WIFI.There is plenty of history in Walhalla to see and read about, and the town is located in a central location to about anything that you and your family would like to do. Oconee County is a great place to come and visit if you enjoy the outdoors. It has spectacular waterfalls, whitewater rafting, river and lake fishing, museums, shopping, festivals, road biking, motorcycle riding, hiking, golf, Clemson University, old churches, fall foliage, and berry picking.
