Finished basement has a laundry area with full size washer and dryer.Located in Connestee Falls, a gated community in the mountains of western North Carolina, nine miles from the town of Brevard. The Connestee community features signature waterfalls, four mountain lakes, an 18-hole championship golf course, grand clubhouse with dining, 13 miles of private hiking trails, a large heated pool, tennis & pickleball courts, and a wellness center. The house is close to the East Fork Gate on Lake Atagahi and is a short walk to the Atagahi Park. The park includes a large pavilion used for multiple events, many barbecue grills, covered picnic tables, a playground, a swimming beach, rest rooms, basketball and volleyball courts (sometimes used for pickleball,) and horseshoe pits.Brevard is home of the world-renowned Brevard Music Center, Brevard College, various festivals, Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, and numerous bike trails and events.The house is centrally located; forty five miles to both Ashville, NC and Greenville, SC; twenty five miles to Hendersonville, NC; forty five miles to Highlands, NC; and twenty five miles to Lake Toxaway.
