Ideal for traveling nurses. A cozy 3br 2 ba cottage with full kitchen nestled in the Virginia countryside on a working farm. Steeped in history and built in 1752, the Kitchenhouse was the kitchen for the main home for many a century. This cottage kitchen was fully renovated in 2022.Situated conveniently between UVA and Virginia wine country (and Woodberry Forest!) makes it the perfect escape to visit kids at school or steal away from the city to the country. In the Fall you may be staying when we plant peonies or watch our farm develop in its first season.We love the walks to Happy Creek or the mile tree lined jaunt to the main road.This is a working farm so you never know if you will be greeted by one of the family pets or farm animals when you step outside. Great for kids and kids at heart when you need to escape somewhere to recenter and recharge. This is not a place for people who need something beyond rural internet.See more
