Description
Cottage By The Sea is a small, semi-ocean front cottage, with wonderful ocean views.It is located in South Nags Head, in a quiet, family-oriented cottage court. No businesses are allowed here on South Old Oregon Inlet Road, except the pier. The delightful sound of waves breaking on the beach is the background noise. A screened porch and sun-deck is on the oceanside for enjoying the sea and sun.Cottage By The Sea is about 800 square feet in size, and sits on the dune-line at the seashore. Inside are juniper walls, central heat and air, and wireless internet. There are three bedrooms; the Captain’s Room has a queen bed, twin bed, and half-bath; the ‘Shell’ bedroom with queen bed and child’s bed; and the “Lighthouse” room has one queen bed. In the hallway is a full bath and high efficiency washer and dryer. The living room has a Lazy Boy recliner, cable tv with sports channels, and dvd player. The kitchen is well-equipped with dishes, cookware, and appliances. Underneath the cottage is room for parking and an outdoor shower with hot and cold running water. The cottage is elevated on the dune-line, but only 10 steps up. Near the steps is a park-style BBQ grill. On the cottage-court grounds are a sandy ocean-front beach, children’s playground, and swimming pool, which guests are welcome to use in season. A paved bicycle path leads from the cottage court to Jeanette’s Pier. No party groups please; this is a family-oriented setting.
