Rustic summer cottage on Penobscot Bay on the Maine coast with 245 ft ofwaterfront in the front and more water in the back. The private beach is sandy and has wonderful rocks for children to climb. The views are magnificent with lobster boats, islands, yachts and kayakers dotting the water. The water is cold but the hardy in my family love it!There is an eat-in kitchen, and a main room with a larger dining table and a fireplace. There is a queen bedroom, a double bedroom and a bedroom with 2 twins. There is a bath with a stall shower and another with a tub/shower. There is a laundry room. A small deck is off the master bedroom and a larger deck in the front of the cottage to sit and watch the view.There are wonderful restaurants and lobster shacks a short distance away. Take a ferry from near by Port Clyde to Monhegan Island for a day of hiking. Or hike one of the trails on Mt Battie in the Camden Hills. The acclaimed Primo farm to table restaurant is 6 miles away. Visit the Farnsworth Museum in Rockland. There is no shortage of activities for all ages!
