However, this lot was not directly impacted and does still have lush vegetation surrounding the home. The area is rebuilding, but large portions of our trees are sadly gone. The spirit of Grand Lake is strong and the recovery process is well under way! The vegetation is returning, and we continue to recover and tell our story of surviving the 2nd largest wildfire in US history** Due to the rebuilding and restoration process, some construction noise could be possible.Policies:- Minimum Age Requirement to rent this home is 25- This home is NOT pet friendly- This property is Non-Smoking**Important Notes:- No power craft (electric or gas) of any kind are allowed on Sun Valley Lake.- The pictured woodburning fireplace in the living room is not available for use. *The woodburning stove near kitchen CAN be used*- There are open log stairs to both bedrooms that might be dangerous or difficult for children and people with mobility issues.- **Because of the remote mountain location and proximity to the wilderness, there is higher iron content inthe water, which can leave an orange residue. It is safe but not everyone is accustomed to it. We do recommend purchasing bottled water for your visit.Cancellation Policy:Cancellations made prior to 30 days of your arrival date for stays of 6 nights or less will incur a $50 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. Cancellations of reservations of 7 nights or more, prior to 30 days before your arrival date incur a $200 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee.
