This is the carriage house for the historic Denton- Losavio house built in 1910 by the lumber man in town. He spared no expense from the beveled cypress siding, to the longleaf pine shiplap, and original heart pine floors.The carriage house is seated back from the street, under a native pecan tree that is over a century old, and next to the two story main house, in which my wife and I live. We are less then 2 miles from the Magnolia Market and even closer to all the excitement of downtown Waco.A unique experience for sure. Someone will be available as much or as little as you need.Make yourself at home. We have fast Wifi, a record player with classic records, Roku TV with Spectrum cable, PlutoTV, Netflix, etc, as well as surround sound with bluetooth capability.Indoor space is 430 square feet and includes a full size bed and a couch with memory foam mattress, allowing for four guests. Bathroom has a full size tub and all new fixtures. In the kitchen there is a farm style sink, an Emeril Air fryer with instructions for meals, and a two burner hotplate with tea kettle. Oil, salt, and pepper provided, along with copper cookware, Pyrex, and place settings for four. We offer complimentary local coffee, small coffee pot and French press for all the coffee lovers.The entire apartment and open air deck is yours to enjoy. We have lights strung in the trees, a privacy wall, smoking permitted anywhere outside, as well as tall propane heater in the cold months and large fan for the hotter ones.See more
