Only steps from Mission Bay, 500 yards to the Ocean, and a short walk to restaurants, shops, and Catamaran Spa, this cottage is the best of both worlds – easy access to the excitement and energy of the beach, yet near the bay for a calm respite to refresh the soul. This original beach house is nestled among others, still in use by full-time residents. As a result this property is best suited for a those seeking a quiet interlude within an active Mission Beach area.Inviting and comfortable living room features a gas fireplace and large-screen TV. Well-equipped eat-in kitchen provides informal seating. Gate-leg table allows more formal dining when expanded in living room. The master bedroom has a queen bed, flat-screen TV, desk, and private bathroom with shower. A second bedroom also includes a queen bed. The third bedroom includes a twin bunk bed with a pull out twin trundle.The cottage is perfect for a beach vacation, but if you need to bring that laptop, it is also a great place for getting some work done. A desk and computer chair are available in the master bedroom; a portable laptop table allows for computer use throughout the house. Cottage comes complete with wireless internet, dishwasher, full-sized washer/dryer, bathtub/shower, gas fireplace, and gas BBQ. Very close to Santa Clara Recreation Center/Mission Bay Aquatic Center which offers classes and water sport rentals, from jet skis, wake boards, water skis, sailboats, paddle boats, kayaks, paddle boards, pontoon boats, and even jetpackexperiences.
