Description

#2 Cottage located in the woods on the quiet side of M.D.I. Pet friendly. Walking distance to town and the Great Harbor Marina with more than a dozen restaurants in the area as well as the Island Explorer Shuttle Bus System (June 23 to Columbus Weekend) to almost everywhere on M.D.I. and Acadia National Park. Minutes to Acadia, hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, mountain climbing, bird & whale watching,. Built in 2012 this is a two bedroom cottage with a large loft master and one bath. The loft has a king size bed with lots of space and two half-height storage closets, the big bedroom has a queen bed with hanging and dresser storage, the small bedroom has twin bunk beds and dresser storage. The kitchen is open to the living/dining area with a cathedral ceiling. We can accommodate more people in our other cottage (Homeaway #956783) if you have a large group or family gathering. The whole interior is knotty pine with laminate wood floors throughout. There is a heat pump in the living room for either heat or air conditioning. The outside patio is pea stone with a barbecue grill, picnic table, chairs, lounge and steps down to a pea stone firepit area.To see reviews of the property, check Woodlands Cottage #1 (Homeaway #956783) my other cottage on the same property.
