You have a separate private entrance and separate parking.The guesthouse is accessed from an entrance at the rear of the garage. Make your way up the stairs and you are greeted by a bench made from a salvaged cotton mill flooring board from North Carolina. This main room has a futon, live edge table for setting up an impromptu office, smart TV, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and coffee table. Adjacent to the living room is the full bathroom and bedroom both behind their own doors.Note that the futon is counted as one of the two beds listed – I would not count on it being super comfy for sleeping but would work in a pinch.You will have full access to the guest house above the garage with a private entrance. We do not share this space with the main house. Think of this as similar to a town home or condo.We are in ‘the sticks’ as some would say. You will travel on a dirt road and gravel driveway to get here. We’re sorry if you just washed your car!We are located in Charleston, SC – there are mosquitos, gnats, palmetto bugs, etc. We do employ regular pest control on this property.The security camera listed in the details is mounted on the exterior of the garage pointed down the entry driveway.We have two friendly dogs that you may see during your stay. They only know how to love so don’t be afraid to give them a pet. Please do be careful when coming and going in your car.You may see wild turkey, deer, hawks, owls, eagles or even a peacock during your stay.
