In the summer months, guests have easy access to restaurants, gift shops, kayak rentals, schooner tours and guided deep sea fishing trips. In the off-season, the island grows quiet and offers an even more intimate island experience where guests can get to know what local island life is like when the temperatures drop and the tourists retreat.Brunswick, known for its quintessential “Maine” Street and being the home of Bowdoin College, is just 15 minutes away.
