It’s separate from the main house on the property.This boutique property with 6+ woodland acres will enchant with its lush gardens and big open lawn with a mini fruit orchard. We’re nestled on a charming country road leading to Old Mystic, passing farms, ponds, and the forested valley of Lantern Hill. Nearby ponds are perfect for fishing, canoeing, and swimming, while Lantern Hill offers stunning views of the Mystic River and Fishers Island Sound. Hike our woodland trails, including the one to the top of Lantern Hill.Outdoor amenities that you can enjoy include a covered outdoor lounge, hammock, firepit, and propane grill. We’re proud to be ‘Connecticut Green Lodging’ certified, prioritizing sustainability and the beauty of nature in all we do – from gourmet breakfasts made with local ingredients to eco-friendly bath amenities and electric vehicle charging stations.The Cottage is well-equipped whether you decide to stay 2 days or 2 weeks. It includes a queen-size bed with Tuft & Needle mattress, deluxe linens, plush towels and bath robes, super fast wifi, microwave, a medium-sized refrigerator, hairdryer, iron, electronic safe, heat and air conditioning, and EO brand organic bath products. A daily cooked-to-order breakfast with organic options (special diets welcome) is included in the price of your stay. Breakfast is served from 8 AM-10 AM and can be enjoyed in the dining room or delivered to your Cottage.For pet owners: A pet fee applies, which is additional to the room rate. We invite you to bring up to two well-behaved, non-destructive pets. We expect that your pet(s) will not do any damage to the property. If your pet creates any damage inside or outside of the Cottage, you will be responsible for any incurred repair/replacement costs. Pets must be controlled by you at all times, and not create excessive noise, either from barking or whining. Guests are expected to bag their pet’s waste.
