It is a large and comfortable vacation home with 8 bedrooms (7 masters), a large private pool, hot tub and it is only 775 feet from the beach access in the Whalehead Beach neighborhood. [Note: No dogs or other animals allowed.]New for 2024 Season: Sofa in main living area replaced.Beds: 2 King Masters, 4 Queen Masters, 2 Pyramid Bunk Sets (1 Master); 18 Towel Sets providedTOP LEVEL:The Great Room encompasses the entire top level with the living area that has a new sofa and dining areas next to a large, well-equipped kitchen with stocked cookware and other meal prep items. A 58″ flat-screen TV will provide viewing pleasure for the entire family. Over by the kitchen island, there are 8 stools to sit and hang-out, keeping the family “chef” company. The breakfast table seats 4 and the dining table seats 10. There are ocean views from the top level with wide decks that span 3 sides of the house facing east, west and south. The rooftop deck also provides both Atlantic Ocean views and sunset views to the west over the Currituck Sound.MID LEVEL:The entire floor has 5 Master Suites with new flat-screen TVs: 1 King, 3 Queens and one Pyramid Bunk Set. All bedrooms have access to the outside decks except the King Master.GROUND LEVEL:A large Lounge area and game area with a new air hockey table (no Foosball table), kitchenette and full-size refrigerator. Three more bedrooms are on this level: the second King Master Suite and the fourth Queen Master Suite. There is another Pyramid Bunk Bedroom which shares a full bathroom with the Lounge area.EXTRAS:The outdoor area offers a beautiful pool (12′ x 25′) with plenty of furniture, a large hot tub and two grills: a park-style grill for charcoal and a gas grill. There is a cabana with a picnic table and an outdoor shower to use before using the pool or hot tub and an outdoor bathroom. In the front driveway, active family members can practice shooting some hoops into the basketball net. Crabby Mermaid is 775 feet from the neighborhood beach access so an easy walk for everyone to enjoy both the beach and this beautiful vacation rental home.
