Situated amongst the North Georgia Mountains, a timeless cabin awaits your arrival – perfect for families or groups of friends. Nestled in the Ellijay’s Coosawattee River Resort, a quiet gated community surrounded by the woods, this 3-bedroom cabin provides a private paradise. Guests will enjoy the secluded hot tub deck where you can leisurely unwind in the evenings. Steps away, a firepit is situated for cozying up under the stars while smores cook over the flames. The protected deer in the area will come up and eat from your hand. You’re sure to make the most of the natural beauty all around, but inside offers recreation options just as enchanting. Make use of the downstairs movie room and pool table for some family-friendly entertainment and fun. Then, head upstairs to the loft where you can challenge your friends to a game of foosball. Take the competition to the digital world with the loft’s smart tv, or simply relax with a favorite movie playing.Back on the home’s main level, you have everything you need for the perfect getaway. Share quality time hanging out in the living room with gas fireplace, cook up delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and dine at the table set for 6. Morning coffee and evening drinks alike can be enjoyed on the home’s balcony, complete with seating, grill, and tree-filled views. From here you can also watch the deer roam free.This home sleeps 7 guests between 3 private bedrooms, sleeper sofa and a full size futon located in the loft:- Bedroom #1 has a king size bed.- Bedroom #2 has a queen size bed.- Bedroom #3 has a full size bed and tv.THINGS TO NOTE:- The names of all guests, 16 and over, must be provided at least 72 hours prior to your stay for entry into the gated community. An additional resort fee to access the community is not included in the reservation rate. The resort fee of $59 per reservation will be added at time of check-in.- There are 2 resort Passes for the guest. Each Pass is good for 4 people each pass for a total of 8. Coosawattee River Resort no longer allows guests to purchase on sight and no other passes are provided.- 2 Amenity cards available in the cabin. Each pass is good for 4 people.- There is a camera on the front and driveway only. No interior cameras.- 3 parking spaces are available in the driveway.- Please take caution when driving on the gravel roads in the neighborhood. Caution should be taken to avoid spinning out on the gravel to maintain proper traction on your tires and avoid kicking up the gravel and causing uneven terrain. This is a community rule 10mph on these roads.- Washer and dryer in unit.At 5,500 acres, this amenity-packed resort in Ellijay, GA, offers 4 parks, a stocked fishing pond, a fireplace space for private events, 2 swimming pools, a recreation center, tennis courts, and a conference center. Coosawattee River is a beautiful River with a wonderful paddle/canoe ride through 13 miles of class 1 and some class 2 shoals. In the northernmost part of Georgia lies the base of the Blue Ridge Mountain chain, lending to the area’s surprisingly rugged and scenic beauty. Lush forests, flowing rivers, hidden waterfalls, and endless adventures await you and your family. Although located only an hour and a half north of Atlanta, you will feel like you’re in a different world entirely. With hundreds of miles of hiking trails and rivers to explore, you can spend your entire day outdoors taking in the mountain fresh air and breathtaking scenery. Check out the local guided hikes such as the Blue Ridge Adventure Park, Noontootla Creek Farms, or Zipline Canopy Tours. Or enjoy nature’s waterparks by way of tubing, kayaking, or rafting the river. Take in a round of golf at the nearby Old Toccoa Farm, a challenging course that weaves its way through the elevation, and finish the day fishing Fannin County, the trout capital of Georgia.When you’re ready for a taste of urban life, explore the nearby towns of Blue Ridge and McCaysville. Don’t let the small-town atmosphere fool you – plenty of shops, restaurants, breweries, wineries, and galleries await. Book a shuttle or wine tour to one of the dozen plus nearby wineries to taste a variety of mountain wines, completing the day with views of the sunset from one of the many scenic outlooks.Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in arranging.GUIDELINES:- Vehicle Recommendation: While AWD or 4WD vehicles are not necessary and you will be able to navigate this road we do recommended to travel the hilly gravel road leading to the house carefully and do not spin or cause your vehicle to throw of gravel and dirt. This is likely to ensure that vehicles have the necessary traction and control on the uneven surface. Caution should be taken to avoid spinning out. Drive safely and slowly- Penalty for Spinning Out: There is a fine for any vehicles caught spinning out on the gravel road. This emphasizes the importance of careful driving and control while navigating the hilly terrain.- Noise Level: To be considerate of nearby residents, especially with regards to music, it’s advised to keep noise levels low. This helps maintain a peaceful environment and prevents disturbances.- Respect Private Property: All properties surrounding the two lots are privately owned. Venturing onto these properties is considered trespassing. It’s important to respect the boundaries and privacy of neighboring properties.- Lights Out at 10:00 PM: All outside lights should be turned off at 10:00 PM. This helps maintain a natural environment and avoids unnecessary light pollution, which can be disruptive to wildlife and neighboring residents.Following these guidelines will not only ensure your own safety but also contribute to a respectful and harmonious experience for everyone involved.Our Hot tub fees are included in our pricing – no additional hot tub fees for our properties. You will have a fully equipped kitchen: refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, some properties offer both Keurig/Drip combo, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans.Unlike other companies that may charge upwards of $50 for a hot tub cleaning fee, we pride ourselves on transparency and affordability, only adding a $15 charge into our cleaning fee. This nominal fee covers the costs of chemicals, as well as the time and labor invested by our dedicated housekeeping team to ensure a clean and relaxing hot tub experience for every guest. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we trust you’ll appreciate the care and attention we put into maintaining our facilities.Our Basic Provisions:Include all linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-wash cloth PER person, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, streaming smart TV, internet, and propane grill or both charcoal and gas. (Some properties have more) Please pick up after your pet at pet friendly properties.In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags), Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads), Laundry Detergent (1 load), and some Dishwashing Soap.Returning Guests are considered VIPs….(when available) we offer free Early check in or Late check out – ask local management team. All trash must be properly bagged or charged a fine. Please abide by all the rules and be courteous of neighbors. If need be management reserves the right to and can evict rowdy/unruly guests on behalf of our owners. However, we have not had to do so yet!
