The spacious pool deck, complete with a gas BBQ grill, outdoor furniture, extensive decking, and privacy fencing surrounds the large private pool area. It is also a tranquil place to read or enjoy morning coffee or an evening cocktail.The great room room, spacious family room off of the kitchen, 3 of the bedrooms, and the bonus room have flat-screen TVs. Free WiFi throughout the residence and cable channels are included. The master suite has a king bed, spacious ensuite bathroom and is located on the main level. Three additional bedrooms feature a second Master with King sized bed and private full bath, a queen suite with a private full bath, and two bunk beds with a private bath. The spacious bonus room area for relaxing is located just steps away from the bedrooms.The large eat-in kitchen has everything you need and is easily accessible from the great room and family room! Schedules are posted and available online.Other Things to Note:BugsWe get asked about Palmetto Bugs all the time. Yes, these are roaches and are found pretty much everywhere outside in South Carolina but we like to call them Palmetto Bugs as it makes them sound nicer! They can be pretty big, can fly and will scurry around the floor but they are largely harmless. They do occasionally come inside, especially at night and during or after any storms. Rest assured all of our homes are professionally treated monthly for pests. Any bugs that manage to get inside will die quickly.According to Eric Benson, Ph.D. professor and extension entomologist at Clemson University “It has nothing to do with cleanliness or the economic conditions of the area,” said Benson. “They could be around the nicest home or the nicest hotel or resort.”If you leave the doors or windows open, especially at night, you will likely see a few. This is perfectly normal. If you see 20 or 30 all in one place then please let us know. This might mean we have a nest somewhere in the home and we’ll need to get pest control out to take care of it. This is extremely rare!Please don’t worry about bugs, enjoy your vacation. You’ll likely not see any while you are here, we just include this note so you understand it’s not unusual to see some and it doesn’t mean the home isn’t well looked after!
