Following these rules is required and will be strictly enforced. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding our house rules.Overview We ask that you treat this home as if it were your own property. Please be aware of the condition of items in the house, and if you notice anything broken when you arrive, contact us to let us know.We also ask that you watch noise levels to respect the neighbors. We do NOT allow parties or events. We do not allow groups larger than 20 at the house. No more than 8 cars at the house and no street or lawn parking is allowed. There is plenty of parking available in the driveway. Parties or Events We do not allow guests to throw parties or events at the property. Any group larger than 20 adults is considered a party. We greatly appreciate your compliance on this as we want to be respectful to the neighbors and their right to peaceful enjoyment of their property. Please be respectful of the neighbors and mind the noise level, especially around or on the dock and outside areas. No fireworks or loud music.Extra Guests We do not allow unauthorized guests in the house. Only the number of guests listed on the reservation (maximum of 15 adults) are permitted to be at the house, inside or outside at any time. This is to deter any excessive noise or destruction of the house.Quiet Time Please be respectful of the neighbors and ensure that noise levels are at a minimum starting at 9 PM until 8 AM the next day.Parking A maximum of 8 vehicles are allowed at the house unless specifically agreed upon in advance with us. Please park your vehicle in the driveway. These are your designated parking areas. Parking here will ensure that you can easily come and go as you please. Parking is prohibited in the street and on the lawn.Locking Up Remember to lock all doors when you leave and at night.Trash Disposal You will find a trash bag provided in the kitchen. Any additional use of trash bags must be provided by the guest (we provide a reasonable amount for your stay but some guests use more than expected). Trash gets picked up every Wednesday. Please be sure that if Wednesday is during your stay or the day of your check out, that you place the roll cart at the street.Dishes You will find plenty of dishes and glasses available for you to use. Please be sure to be careful with the glassware and let us know if any are broken so we can replace them. There are plenty of entertaining dishes, plates, bowls, pots, pans, blender, storage containers, coffee mugs, wine glasses, cutting boards, outdoor grill etc for you to use. We just ask that you place all dishes back where they were to help make it easier for our staff to do inventory. Please load and start the dishwasher prior to checking out if you have used any dishes. This ensures we have enough time for the dishwasher to fully run before the next guest checks in.Pets We do not allow pets in the house due to individuals that have allergies. Evidence of pets at the property could result in a fine of up to $500 per pet.Furnishings Take care of all furnishings. Do you not damage or stain furnishings. Please do not rearrange furniture. Please no tape, adhesives or holes in the walls to hang up any decorations. You will be responsible for all damages to property and/or its furnishings.Broken Items If for any reason you break an item during your stay, please let us know. We understand that accidents happen, but in order for us to fix or replace something for a future guest to enjoy, we will need to know that it is broken. We appreciate your honesty.Child Safety Do not leave children unsupervised; you are fully responsible for their safety at all times. Please be sure to wear life jackets at all times around the lake and dock. Please make sure children are supervised around the lake and on the balconies at all times.Safety Close the windows and lock the door when leaving the premises. Please use the dock area safely, no jumping or diving off the dock. Boats are permitted to dock at the floating dock; however, docking your boat is at your own risk. No more than 2 boats are permitted at the dock at any one time. Please do not leave chairs on the floating dock. Please return them to their designated area after each use as the wind can knock the chairs into the water. Please no climbing and jumping off of the railings.Garage N/ASmoking The home is a non-smoking. Smoking inside of the house is prohibited. Please smoke outside and dispose of your cigarettes in the trash. Evidence of smoking inside the property or discarded cigarettes on the grounds can result in a $250 fine. We appreciate your compliance!Illegal Substances Absolutely NO illegal substances or underage drinking is allowed on the premises. This will result in immediate termination of your rental agreement and you will be asked to vacate the premises.Checking In / Out Check In is 4 pm unless otherwise agreed upon. Please check out of the rental by 10 am unless previously discussed with us. The housekeeper will arrive around 10:05-10:15am. Checking out by this time ensures that we have enough time to clean the place and get it ready for our next guests. When you check out your door code will be deleted out at 10 am unless arranged otherwise. Please remove all food items from the refrigerator and cabinets, place trash in provided roll cart and turn off any electronics and lights prior to check out. Please place dirty linens in a pile. Please set the thermostat to 70 if the AC is on and at 65 if the heat is on. Lock all doors and windows. Please be sure to lock all doors and windows. Please make sure all dirty dishes are placed in the dishwasher and the dishwasher started before leaving.Once again, we appreciate your compliance with these rules.
