Spend your days strolling two blocks down to the harbor, riding bikes on the Belfast Rail Trail, and exploring the wonders of the Midcoast with ease.This quiet, two-story home sits on a gorgeous street about three blocks from the center of Belfast, an authentic seaport known for its picturesque harbor and active shipbuilding business. It’s a hub for fishermen and lobstermen, wonderful restaurants, and two farmers markets showcasing fresh, local food. From the house, you can easily walk to the beach, the five-mile Rail Trail, seafood shacks, vibrant art galleries, and all the shops in town. It’s also a great home base for day trips, with Camden (18 miles), Acadia National Park (57 miles), and Bar Harbor (61 miles) within striking distance.Originally built in 1875 and renovated several times over the years, the property is full of the quirks and charms that make a house a home. Enjoy rooms that are sunny, peaceful, and spacious enough for spreading out. Cook with ease in the well-equipped kitchen, gather for movies (via Amazon Fire TV or DVD) in the attached family room, or set up a board game by one of the two fireplaces.After a day spent kayaking or picking wild blueberries, find ample space to unwind on the deck and in the fenced yard out back. Light the gas grill for an evening barbecue, roast marshmallows around the firepit, or simply lie back in the hammock and admire the night sky.
