Two miles south, you’ll find Sugar Mountain Resort with ski runs like Magic Carpet Area and Ski School Yard for beginners and Tom Terrific and Boulderdash for the group experts. You’ll also have plenty of restaurants nearby anytime you need a break from the kitchen.On the main floor, the main living area enjoys beautifully furnished LVP floors, a handsome gas fireplace, lockers for wet clothes, and soaring, vaulted ceilings. The large upper deck with seating for many has gorgeous short and long-range views of the mountains and is the perfect place to enjoy your first cup of morning coffee as you listen to nature awakening or watch the gorgeous sunsets in the evenings. The full kitchen is loaded with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, terrific cookware, and many fun gadgets to make tonight’s home-cooked meal a joy to prepare.Down the hall, you’ll find a half bath and the primary bedroom with an en suite bathroom with French doors opening to the deck with long-range mountain views. Across the hall, the second bedroom serves as a primary as well, with an en suite bath.On the lower level, you’ll find a spacious and well-appointed entertainment area complete with lots of comfortable furniture, LVP flooring throughout, a TV, a wet bar with granite countertops, a rugged stacked-stone back wall, a mini-fridge, and ample countertop space. You’ll also have access to the lower deck, where you’ll find a picnic table, Adirondack seating, and lovely short and long-range mountain views. Head down the hall to the first bedroom with a triple bunk bed and a TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed, a twin bed with a trundle underneath, and a door leading out to the large deck with great views. Boredom is not allowed here as plenty of board games are available for inside play, or go outside and enjoy the firepit and horseshoe pit!THINGS TO KNOWThis vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning.This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets.
