Eagle’s Nest- A modern, pet friendly cabin on the river with a hot tub!Welcome to Eagle’s Nest, a purpose-built vacation rental cabin. It’s near our Tree Top, Fish Trap and Green Castle cabins and, like them, is also river-front, sitting up high above the river with an area to walk down to the river’s edge. It’s part of an 18-acre “fish trap” location that was used by ancient American Indians hundreds of years ago.Eagle’s Nest is a large beautiful property with a modern beautiful exterior and interior. Hardwood floors, stainless appliances, flat-screen TVs – everything is new, luxurious and waiting for your personal enjoyment. The pictures capture some of the beauty, modern design, nature, and open spaces. Take a look at those and drink it all in!In terms of size, Eagle’s Nest can fit larger groups of 10 but would also work for a couple or small family. There are three (3) bedrooms and two (2) full bathrooms. The third bedroom is the large loft area you see in the living room pictures. There is a queen and two twin beds in that loft area. The main two bedrooms both have queen beds.You’re going to love your time here. As we work to enhance, expand and grow this property, we continue our mission to be your weekend river cabin of choice. Book now before your dates are gone!FAQ / Cabin Rules:Because of the remote nature of the cabin, the internet is provided by a satellite provider. Because of this, video streaming is not possible without severely impacting the data cap for the month. If you stream video, the internet will most likely be cut off during your stay.PLEASE NOTE: The optional firewood charge of $12/night is for firewood for the outdoor fire pit. (The indoor fireplace at this property is gas.) If you don’t think you will use the firewood or would like to bring your own, please let us know! We are more than happy to refund that to you.Also NOTE: No parties, events, or gatherings of guests that are not included in the reservation are allowed at Eagle’s Nest.The base rate includes 5 people. Additional guests are extra $40 per person per night, please read the itemized charges carefully and make sure to make your reservation for the correct number of guests that will be staying. Thank you!Check-in 4:00 PM Check-out 11:00 AMDogs are welcome! There is a limit of 2, with a pet fee of $65 per dog. Unfortunately, we can’t accept cats. Sorry about that!There is no trash service in this area. We ask that you please take your trash with you- there is information in the cabin on where to go to take it so that you don’t have to take it all the way home with you!Alternatively, housekeeping can remove it for you for a tip of $5 per bag.
