A short stroll down the hill brings you to the Lake Placid Marina (0.3 mi.), where boat rentals are available to explore this 2,173 acre glacial lake. Dock at Whiteface landing, at the foot of the Olympic mountain, and enjoy swimming and a picnic. Also, a public boat ramp is nearby (0.2 mi.), as well as access to the Jackrabbit and Peninsula hiking trails.
