‘FALLS MELODY’This dramatic custom designed home is situated at above 3000 feet elevation, it overlooks a rushing creek, and a small waterfall, both situated on the property. You can access the creek from the stairs cut into the hillside, or just sit on the terrace above the falls. The large back deck is situated above the road, and gives a panoramic view of the treetops. The firepit is perfect for an evening marshmellow roast. The creek is suitable for wading, and the melody of the rushing water provides for many a relaxing afternoon. There is an area suitable for swimming and sliding less than 2 miles from the house.The back deck is ideal for outdoor dining, or just relaxing after a busy day. Our guests often comment that while we are a little out of the way, the peace and quiet and serenity at the end of the day is well worth it.The home is ideally situated. We are 7 miles off of the Smokey Mountain Expressway, which provides easy access to many attractions. Some local attractions include Nantahala Rafting, Zip lining, Deep Creek Tubing, Great Smoky Mountain RR, Great Smokey Mountains National Park, Lake Fontana, Bryson City, Cherokee, Dillsboro, Sylva, Waynesville, and Maggie Valley.
