Minutes from the Dolores River (that you can float down) & lakes with boat rentals. 1 hr to Durango & a little over an hour to Telluride & skiing. Back country skiing less than 10 minutes away.Large gazebo with fire pit and seating overlooking mountains for magical sunsets and amazing dinners.2 labyrinths, zen garden, prayer wheel & pool table on site to enjoy.The Lodge – 7 spacious and updated rooms that can host up to 22 guests.The enormous master offers a walk in shower and a huge jetted tub under windows to watch the clouds go by and smell the fresh air as you soak. Our air quality is great! Electric fireplace next to tub as well. Imagine when the snow falls and having a hot soak there! Seating area, balcony off the master, and 3 closets as well.Upstairs bedrooms all have tubs, private baths, closets and a beautiful airy feel.TVs downstairs & in upstairs loft as well as master, although being outside is the whole point!Lodge main room offers plenty of seating area for cozying up by the indoor fire, or can also be converted to an event space with backjacks, seating and tables that can comfortably host 75 guests inside. (100max)Sit on the covered porch and watch the trees move, or enjoy the ice capped mountains as birds fly or kids play.The kitchen is large, and situated as a chef kitchen, 2 fridges/freezers and 2 electric stoves – a gas stove is available but we do prefer to turn it off/make it inaccessible when children are on site. Opening the back door while you cook makes for a calm and peaceful feel. Grill on back patio off kitchen.The bottom level has French doors that open to the prayer wheel as you play pool or have a drink at the bar.Additional building is a 30 second walk from the lodge with 11 separate rooms available for additional cost, each with private bath and private entrance- message for exact configurations! This building also has a large rec room with tea station, fridge, couches, dining tables and books.Outdoor games include volleyball, bocce ball, large jenga and more.You can also rent side by sides in town 5 minutes away and take them all through the county roads and forests.Children playground on site.Let us know if you need fishing poles, bikes, or pack n plays!Small event fee depending on property use and offsite day guests- message for more details!Quick notes: the property is maintained by hauled water, which is monitored off site, water hauling with a truck will occur but is not disturbing. Property staff occupy a building at the front of the property to ensure you have a smooth stay. They do not access the land otherwise and will not disturb you. We have measures to ensure they are not on site during ceremony for weddings as well.See more
