That said, the fun really begins with kayaking on Shem Creek, walking/running the Ravenel Bridge, enjoying the fantastic beaches of Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms or perhaps meandering the Pitt Street “Walking” Bridge and then stopping off to enjoy the shops/restaurants in “Old Village”. Many visitors come to Charleston with one thing on their mind…..FOOD! Well, you are in the perfect spot as many of the best are less than a few miles away!
