The large backyard includes an expansive lawn perfect for playing games, as well as a fire pit with seating, and there is a private sandy beach with a dock and canoe just steps away. The home has 7 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, plus a well-appointed recreation room, but the real star of the show is the great room. You can take in the gorgeous lakefront vista through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the great room while enjoying the kitchen with island seating & mini-fridge, living room lounge area with large-screen (55″) television (satellite TV & DVD player included), small breakfast/gaming table for 4, and an expansive dining table large enough to accommodate your whole group! The lake-facing deck includes both outdoor seating and a grill, and there is also a screened porch with a ceiling fan and an 8-piece dining set that’s perfect for rainy days. This quiet and peaceful area brings many vacationers who return year after year to enjoy visiting with family, friends, and even co-workers.Summer brings the fun of boating, swimming, picnicking, and relaxing. The autumn colors are spectacular around the lake and area. Enjoy the area’s winter sports like skiing, sledding, cross-country skiing, and ice skating. Spring brings the lovely colors of the flowers and leaves bursting into new life, invigorating your soul and mind after the long winter.The home is 10-15 minutes away from Crane’s Orchards and Dutch Farms, which is famous for delicious pies and fruit picking. On the way to the orchards is the Fennville Winery, offering tours, and wine tastings. If you like antiquing, it does not get better than this – there are many antique stores within 20 minutes, either in South Haven, Allegan, Douglas, and Saugatuck or along Blue Star Highway. In the summer, dune rides are a blast and the South Haven beaches are gorgeous. Go fruit picking for cherries, blueberries, raspberries, and apples in nearby orchards. Art galleries in the area offer a wonderful selection to take home as souvenirs. Take your own kayaks to different lakes and rivers – but don’t forget your paddles and life jackets!Upper Scott Lake is only 15 minutes from downtown South Haven or Saugatuck, and 25 minutes from Holland.Getting Around:You will definitely need a car to see the best that southwest Michigan has to offer.Note: We Do Not Offer Electric Vehicle Charging & Attempting To Do So Will Overload/Damage Our Electrical System.
