Our cozy, country, chic apartment is the perfect getaway for two! This private space offers everything you need! If you’re coming enjoy upstate New York’s gorgeous Finger Lakes, this is the place for you! We’re about 30-40 minutes from everywhere….the bustling college town of Ithaca and Cornell University, as well as NASCAR in Watkins Glen, wineries, and state parks. But, if a quiet, secluded stay is what you’re after, step out onto the private deck and enjoy a cozy fire while the sun sets!Neighborhood descriptionWe love the location close to nature and on a dead end road. We live just on the outskirts of the village of Van Etten, but 20-30 minutes from Ithaca State Parks, Watkins Glen and 40 minutes from Seneca and Cayuga Lake wineries. The view from our house is incredible and is amazing anytime of the year!We highly recommend good snow tires and/or 4 wheel drive during the winter months.Getting aroundIthaca, Elmira, Vestal, Owego, Corning, and Watkins Glen are all within a 40 minute (or less) drive.*There is only a 20 gallon hot water tank. (shorter showers)*WiFi is not always stable due to the rural nature of our community
