Dear friends – Welcome to Beach Bird Cottage, situated on a quiet street with other vintage cottages in the heart of Union Pier. It is an easy 5-minute walk to an association beach.The cottage has many updates, including a new kitchen, a bathroom, washer/dryer, outdoor shower (to be installed by June 2021) and a wood-burning stove. The master and second bedroom each have queen-size beds with new Serta Concierge Suite Firm 12-inch mattresses. The children’s bedroom has two new Dorel Living twin beds with Linenspa 8-inch hybrid mattresses.Enjoy an early swim before breakfast or have an evening beach picnic under the sunset. It is a short walk to other nearby public beaches, the weekend farmer’s market or Union Pier’s ice cream parlor. Take a trip to Warren Dunes or a quick drive to area antique shops, restaurants, wineries, galleries, parks, golf courses, etc. Or just stay nearby!What to expect:-High speed internet and WIFI-TV with Amazon Firestick (NO cable or satellite)-Netflix included-Amazon Prime Video included-Boomerang kids channel included-Britbox channel included-Paramount + channel included-Outdoor shower (to be installed by June 2021)-Woodburning stove (must buy own wood)-18 inch Weber charcoal grill-Firepit-4 beach chairs and red wagon (two children’s trucks, two buckets, and a frisbee)-Dishwasher-Central heat/AC-Washer/Dryer*NO cable TV*NO beach towels*Unfortunately we cannot rent to anyone under the age of 25.*Our base price is figured for two people. Above two people we charge a $15-per-person-per-night extra guest fee. VRBO will automatically include this fee in your bill. If you will have extra guests staying for just a portion of your entire stay please let me know so I can (a) let our housekeeper know to leave extra towels, linen, etc. and (b) have VRBO send a custom extra guest fee covering the nights the extra guests will be staying.
