With a premiere location and historic ambiance, one can not help but feel the warmth and charm of this picturesque home. This cottage is located just across the street from Thorpe Park. This comfy, cozy gem is a perfect getaway for a 6-person retreat to Flagstaff, Arizona.The home has a spacious combination living room/dining-room (seats 6) and is beautifully furnished with the perfect mix of old and new. Relax with family and friends on the couch and loveseat that encircle the Smart-TV mounted above the decorative fireplace (not for use at this time). Admire the recently restored, original oak hardwood floors that cover the majority of the first level. Enjoy the view of Thorpe Park through the large picture window.The open kitchen with original tile is well appointed with a variety of items for cooking delicious meals. There is a glass cooktop stove with oven, a refrigerator, and a microwave, as well as a large crockpot and a rice cooker. A dedicated workspace with an adjustable height desk is nestled in the light filled kitchen nook.The master bedroom, located on the lower level, offers a queen size bed with a large dresser, spacious closet, SmartTV and en-suite bathroom. This early 20th century bathroom is equipped with original tile. There is also a tub/shower combination and vintage sink.The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, a TV, and en-suite bathroom with shower.A large patio in the backyard includes a propane grill and a retro dining table and chairs, perfect for enjoy the fantastic climate of Flagstaff.The one car garage is for guest use and there are two additional spaces for parking in the driveway. There is street parking, but it is not permitted during the winter (November to April.)Guests will have use of the entire home except for a few locked closets.The home is located about a half mile from Historic Downtown Flagstaff, where you find award winning restaurants, coffee and pastry shops, bars, art galleries, specialty shopping, local tours and wine tasting stores. All within walking distance! Be sure to visit the Flagstaff Visitor Center located in the historic train station.
