There is so much to do and see whether you watch surfers and paddle boarders catch aquamarine waves or join them yourself, you will be sure to be entertained. If you walk down the Pier you may even be able to spot Sleeping Bear Dunes! There is nothing like Michigan beaches in the summertime, crystal clear, warm water with sandy bottoms. What more could you ask for!Sleeping Bear Dunes is just a short drive north and has plenty of hiking trails, but if you feel up for the challenge you could try “The Dune Climb”. Three and a half miles of walking in sand is not for the faint in heart! But is worth the serene beach you find at the end.
