Description

Fully-restored 1850s German Home in Downtown New Braunfels – BThis is the back unit of a fully-restored 1850s German home in downtown New Braunfels. The footprint became a duplex in the 1930s and we left it as such. The living room contains a “truth window” – a section where we left the original German fachwerk exposed for those who admire old homes to see some of the original settlers’ handiwork. This property is right downtown – restaurants and bars are a block away. Also close to Schlitterbahn, the Comal river, and The Float In. This is one unit of a duplex in downtown New Braunfels. You will share a wall with the other rear unit and guests but you do have your own private porch and entrance. You can often hear live music coming from downtown New Braunfels in the evenings. We do have sound machines in the bedrooms to help mitigate noise concerns around bedtime.
