Supplied with a pair of bikes for cruising down the the boardwalk to make this a beach vacation to remember! This is a new property by experienced hosts.We believe in full transparency so please review these disclaimers before booking:Due to insurance reasons, the person booking must be at least 25 years old to book and must upload a photo of government ID to the host within 24 hours of booking. We reserve the right to request the first and last names of all members of the group as well as ID’s prior to supplying door code. Due to local laws, stays of longer than 30 days or longer must sign a rental agreement within 48 hours of booking.Please note that we have occupancy based pricing in our settings. Please select the correct number of people in your group at the time of booking to get the correct pricing for your stay. Keep in mind, if you add more people to your group after booking the rate may adjust slightly. There is an additional charge of $20 per night for each additional person after the initial 2 people. This keeps our rates low and affordable for our average group size for this listing and helps us charge an appropriate fee for the additional linens and utilities used by a larger group size. Thank you for understanding.We love children and want you to know that they are more than welcome as our guests. This means that children of any age, even infants, are counted as guests in your guest count. Please let us know in advance the ages of all children.To keep the place cool in the summertime please open the windows and prop the bedroom door open for the airflow through the condo with the ceiling fans operating. (Please close and lock all doors and windows when you are not home. The home will cool off quickly again when the windows are opened and fans are running.Corporate leases and insurance companies that need to relocate their people are welcome on case by case basis. Stays of 30 days or longer will require a signed rental agreement and a background check.Should you need additional bikes there is a bike rental shop a couple of block away. (They also rent kid-sized bikes and baby seats if you need those too.) We do not supply bike helmets. By law, only minors are required to wear bike helmets.You have access to a laundry room that is shared by the other units of the building. Tenant access time is daily (time)We can refer you up to a service that will set up a private bonfire on the beach. Includes set up and take down, portable steel fire drum, roasting sticks, hot dogs, and s’mores. A perfect activity while waiting for the nightly summer Sea World fireworks over the bay. Inquire for details.Want family pictures on the beach? What better backdrop for a group shot than the stunning backdrop of the ocean or bay at sunset! For an extra fee we can arrange for a local portrait photographer to do a photo session of your family on the beach. Let us know in advanced if you’re interested and we can make an appointment with the photographer during your stay.The unit is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. However if you wish for a cleaning and change of linens during your stay we can arrange for the housekeeper to come for an additional charge of the standard cleaning fee. Please give us one day’s notice so we can get this scheduled.Other things to note:* At the time of booking please provide the names and ages of everyone in your group* We reserve the right to request a copy of government ID of all adult guests* Quiet time is at 9 pm (music off, voices & TV volume down)* Please do not disturb neighbors* No smoking or parties!Janet & Scott are your hosts. We own and operate Mission Beach Villas, a highly rated vacation rental management business in San Diego.We are available 7 am to 10 pm to answer questions during your stay.Our storefront rental office, Mission Beach Villas, is a couple of blocks away, so if you need anything feel free to stop by! If you have an early flight, you may stow your luggage at our office so you can go to lunch or hang out on the beach until check-in time. And if you have an afternoon flight on checkout day you may also stow luggage. Just coordinate these details with us and we are happy to accommodate.Before your stay, we are happy to suggest our favorite restaurants, and tourist attractions and will help you get acquainted with the area. We will always be available to answer questions during your stay. Please respect that and keep noise levels down after 9 pm.The best thing about the neighborhood is that there is so much within walking distance that you really don’t need a car. You could just take a taxi or Uber from the airport (6 miles away), get dropped off here and you’re at the beach! We have local restaurants, trendy beach bars, excellent coffee spots, and breakfasts cafes all within a few short blocks. Sea World is just 3 miles away.- Outdoor Activities -Recreational opportunities abound! It is within walking distance to Santa Clara point where there are numerous recreation activities and rentals available including: stand up paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, windsurfing, catamarans, sail boats, water ski boats, and even jet packs. There are group classes and private lessons available in all of these activities. What’s more there are free yoga classes on the beach each day at the end of our court.The surfing on the beach out in front of the property is excellent for beginner to advanced surfers and great for spectators as well. There are affordable surf lessons offered daily on the beach by our friends at Surfari Surf School. What’s more, we can point you to all the best surf spots in San Diego County. And we have two world class board shapers who live on our court in case you want to get a new surf board while you are here.We offer keyless digital entry to the front door of the condo. However there are 2 main building doors and an elevator that uses a key that we set up inside a lock box for you near the front door of the main building. All this and full directions are given to you at the time of your booking.This beautiful 1 bedroom condo is on the second floor of a 3 story building.Parking: Dedicated parking space for one vehicle in building’s parking garage (Midsize vehicles only.
