The Beach Bothy is a charming Surfside Beach rental just a short walk from the beach. Two decks, three bedrooms, two baths. Rental includes gas grill, beach chairs and surfboard. Perfect for girls’ weekends, two families or bird watching.Artsy, mid-century décor. Fully stocked kitchen, regular coffee maker and a Keurig. Two decks. From the front one you can just see the waves of the Gulf and the back deck has a view of the Inter-coastal Waterway and great sunsets.Guest accessWhole house. The master bedroom has a king and one twin bed. One bedroom has a queen and a twin, and the third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds with extra twin mattresses . The living room has a single futon. Propane gas grill available.Other things to noteEveryone asks the definition of “bothy”. It is a Gaelic word that means a small cottage, especially one for communal use in remote areas. Bothies are particularly common in the Scottish Highlands and are used by hikers. Everyone treats the cottage as if were their own and helps keep up the repair; often leaving something for the next guests. My friends have helped me furnish our Surfside bothy and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Please treat it as if it were your own home. Also note that the Surfside tap water is not drinkable, bottled water is provided..You must be 25 to rent.
