Walk 5 minutes in the other direction and you’ll come to the larger duBois beach and the tip of the Stonington peninsula, with panoramic views of Fisher’s Island Sound. There’s also a salt-marsh meadow with a walking trail and a lovely view of Little Narragansett Bay.Also just minutes away by foot are adorable shops and eateries—the blueberry pancakes at Noah’s are the best we’ve ever tasted—and a short drive away are a farm stand, lobster shacks and roadside ice-cream shops (open seasonally), and the towns of Mystic and Watch Hill.
