This cozy home is located in the small town of Grottoes, Virginia nestled between the shade of an old Oak Tree, Maple Tree, and Pine Trees. It sits on approximately three acres with a large field behind the house where kids can run and play. In the Spring and Summer, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the rose garden in the back yard. My father passed away in March of 2017 and left behind the old home place. He spent many hours in his rose garden and enjoyed delivering them to his wife in the nursing home. Since his passing, I’ve completely renovated this beautiful old home on Dogwood Ave and have also began to learn the art of growing roses. My father loved to help others and loved people and I am carrying on the tradition of helping others by offering a location where folks can come away, relax and unwind. There are two lovely bedrooms; one of which has two antique brass beds. There is a special room in memory of my father who was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition, there are games for all ages and many books and memorabilia to enjoy. The kitchen has a modern yet retro look to it. There is an old red Formica table that seats four. You can also sit and enjoy the big screen TV while seated at the bar in the kitchen. There is a coffee station completely furnished with coffee and teas to choose from.
